Devereux Derring-Do!

Devereux Golf Apparel

By John Ehle

Robert Brunner studied geology as an undergrad (at TCU) and when his interest in fashion lured him into the clothing industry he went to LA to study product development.

His grandmother passed along her fashion sense and elegance so Robert benefited in multiple ways; not the least of which was the loan of her beautiful French surname.

The Devereux logo is eye-catching and one's ear embraces her name. The first time I put on one of their svelte, elegant cotton shirts I knew that Brunner had created some exquisite clothing. The palette which Devereux has selected is understated.....richly simple and direct.

These shirts lose nothing in the transition from the golf course to dinner; or to the board room. The short, pointed, button-down collar invites an open-at-the neck presentation or a tie. These shirts, which are fashioned in Peru of fine, long-staple cotton, deserve a place in your closet.
