Below is an interview with Bob Cupp, the at Bob Cupp, Inc.. The following are a few traditional and non traditional golf centric questions that I love to ask influential people in the golf industry.

Can you provide our readers a brief biography?
Played very young with family and friends Played baseball in college, not golf Some success and an amateur Tried to be a professional (3 years) - was even in a section event on a very windy day. Gibby Gilbert shot 62. I knew design was a better option.
Worked around south Florida for three years, Nicklaus called. I went. 15 years later I started my own firm. That was 28 years ago. Jack has remained a great friend.

When did you start golfing and who introduced you to the game?
See above. Everybody in my family played. Both mom and dad were good players (state competitions, club champs).

What is your current home course?
Too many.

To date, what is your proudest golf accomplishment?
Being inducted into the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, with Bob Jones and many others.

What is your biggest golf pet peeve on or off the course?
Slow play.

What is your favorite club in your bag and why?
Driver. It treats me well.

What is your favorite golf destination?
Home.

What course is on your bucket list that you have not played yet?
Don't have one. I've played all over, on many continents.

If you woke up tomorrow and could play one course you played before, where would you play?
That's like asking me which is my favorite child.

Probably Royal Portrush.

If you could change one aspect, rule or thing about golf, what would it be and why?
The ball.

Dream foursome (living)?
My family.

Dream foursome (living or dead)?
Macdonald, Tillinghast, Ross and Pete - and I get to caddy for one of them and listen to the banter.
