AUR Golf Review

AUR produces golf wear for active men and women seeking a minimalist and modern look. Their golf designs offer a flattering fit and are made of performance fabrics suitable for both on and off-course activities. The AUR Golf Spring 2015 Collection features bold and dynamic colors as well as sophisticated and elegant geometric prints. Brad Franklin, who heads up design at AUR feels confident that this season's collection is the brand's finest ever. According to Franklin, "Our goal for this season was to bring the consumer a collection that evokes emotion and excitement in the wearer through enhanced fabric offerings and the thoughtful use of color, patterns and prints."

AUR was kind enough to provide FloridaGolfer.com with several samples of both men's and women's clothing. The AUR Men's Sparwood Polo is a 96/4% polyester/spandex blend that features AUR's Active-Dry technology, ensuring that you will stay cool and dry throughout the round. The sample I received was a Neptune and Sunglo White striped polo that was very comfortable on the course and kept me dry and odor-free. On cold mornings, the Sparwood Polo pairs well with an AUR Golf Thermal Full Zip Jacket. AUR's proprietary Active-Warm technology is designed to keep the heat in so that you can stay warm, comfortable and focused on more important things! The Full Zip Thermal Jacket is available in black, navy and Neptune blue.

The Men's Performance Golf Pants have a sleek and modern look to them. These flat front pants perform even better than before thanks to AUR's proprietary Active-Stretch fabric. These slacks are moisture wicking, fast drying and easy to care for too. Colors include black, charcoal, fieldstone, Neptune, nightfall and white and are available in waist sizes 32 - 40.

AUR's Spring 2015 Collection has a lot to offer women golfers as well. The Penhold Golf Polo is designed in an lightweight polyester fabric with color block at chest. It features a self-collar with a V-placket and is made from a lightweight, 100% polyester material which is breathable and provides superior on-course comfort. It has the same moisture-wicking, UV protection and fast drying properties as the men's garments. The Penhold Polo is available in White, Nightfall Navy and Malibu Green and looks great with the AUR Women's Solid Stretch Golf Short. This golf short is designed with a 2-way stretch fabric for ultimate comfort on the golf course and features a 2" waist band, belt loops and pockets in both the front and back. It possesses several AUR proprietary properties including moisture wicking, anti-odor, easy care. It's fast drying and offers great protection against the sun's harmful UV rays as well. These shorts are available in White, Nightfall, Malibu Green and Kiss (pink).

My wife is trying to revive women's golf dresses and was pleasantly surprised with AUR's McLennan Golf Dress. It's a sleeveless design that uses an Active-Dry fabric that is 55% cotton and 45% polyester. This fabric offers the ultimate in comfort and performance, Other AUR proprietary technologies include moisture wicking, fast drying and anti-odor properties. The McLennan Golf Dress has a 4-button placket and a self-collar as well as split side hems and a back zip pocket. There are also undershorts sewn in. If you're not familiar with the AUR name, it's time you got acquainted.
