New Balance continues to put out innovative golf shoes reminiscent of their popular running shoes. Their new Men's Minimus Golf Shoe features a microfiber leather upper which is extremely lightweight, comfortable and waterproof. New Balance's FantomFit support system has been skeletally engineered into the shoe's upper and provides superior fit and ultralight support.

As far as fit goes, the Minimus has a standard heel width combined with a wider forefoot and shallower toe box. These New Balance golf shoes are made with an Ortholite insole which offers a lot of breathability and wicks away moisture, keeping you cool and dry in all kinds of weather conditions. With the New Balance Minimus golf shoe, you'll look and feel like you're wearing a pair of their classic fitting sneakers.

These shoes also feature New Balance's REVlite midsole, an innovative foam compound with the same responsiveness and durability of other New Balance foams which are typically 30% heavier. Most importantly, REVlite doesn't sacrifice underfoot cushioning or stability. The instep of this shoe sits a little lower, which seems to add to the comfort, especially when walking long distances. The ultra-flexible NDurance spike-less rubber outsole is a rubber compound that offers maximum durability in high wear areas and provides needed traction and stability throughout your swing. The New Balance logo is proudly displayed on the lateral sides of the shoe as well as on the back.

Features are one thing, but how does the shoe perform? About as well as any other spikeless shoe on the market - only with extreme comfort. Living in Florida, I don't have the opportunity to walk golf courses like I did up north, however when I get the chance, these would be my go-to pair of shoes.
