Chase54 Fall 2016 Golf Collection

A Glowing Review

By David Theoret

Chase54 continues its to climb the golf course apparel ladder and become a name to be reckoned with in the industry. Their technology advancements in the garment industry continue to push the envelope and light up (literally) the industry. Their new GLOFUZE technology features a glow in the dark fabric with reflective details and a sharp design that may just keep you on the course a little longer.

The Men's Berlin Polo from Chase54 is a very unique garment. It uses one of their latest technologies: GLOFUZE, which is a reflective property meaning the printed design on the shirt shows up very differently under flash or bright light. This 100% Polyester garment has stretch in it for full mobility during your golf swing and the seams are reinforced with topstitching, meaning this garment will keep its shape and last for years. The removable collar stays keep the collar looking crisp and professional all the time. Get out on the dance floor under some strobe lights and your friends will think you've changed shirts. The Berlin Polo is available in sizes S-XXL and in Black, Lilac or Lake. Retail price is $76.00

The Men's Trekker Shorts use Chase54's DRYFUZE technology to wick moisture away from your body to keep you dry and comfortable throughout your round and the mechanical stretch fabric gives you all the room you need to move comfortably and effortlessly (depending on your swing) through your next shot. The pockets are deep, so you need not worry about anything falling out in the car or in the golf cart and the gripper tape waistband keeps everything in place and looking neat. The 10" inseam provides ample coverage from the sun. The Men's Trekker Shorts are available in sizes 30-44 and in several colors including: Black, Navy, Khaki, Platinum, Skylight, Stone and White. Retail price is $79.00.

The DRYFUZE technology in Chase54's Cay Skort sees to it that you won't have to worry about sweat and those unsightly stains. The 90% Polyester/10% Spandex fabric moves with you through every phase of the golf swing. There's an inner jersey short sewn into the garment that provides added comfort and security as does the high UPF rating of +40, so you won't have to worry about soaking in the sun's harmful rays. The 18" outseam provides a modest length and there are multiple pockets to store all of your personal items. The Cay Skort is available in sizes XS-XXL and in Cobalt, Black and Ruby. The Skort pairs well with the Embark Polo and will only set you back $83.50.

The Women's Embark Sleeveless Polo is quickly becoming a favorite among the ladies. First of all, the 90% Polyester/10% Spandex material provides all the stretch she will ever need, while still providing a flattering fit. Second, with a UPF of +40, she'll have all the protection she needs from the sun's harmful rays and thirdly, the DRYFUZE technology keeps her dry and odor free throughout her round. Add in the snap-front extended placket and she can decide where her tan line starts. Throw in the fact that the Embark Sleeveless Polo is available in sizes XS-XXL to fit almost any women and the fact that it's available in Cobalt, Ruby, Teal or Black and it's easy to see why she will love it. Tell her that the retail price is only $57 and you're bound to see her wearing every color over the next few rounds.

Chase54 is one apparel company that shouldn't be overlooked. Whether you're a golf course looking for new merchandisers to carry or just a weekend golfer looking for some quality golf apparel with unique characteristics. Chase54 is a brand to consider. Go ahead, dare to be different.

About: David Theoret

David Theoret David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.

Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.

After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
