Eagle Ridge Golf Course Enhancements Make Courses More Playable

Players Up for a Challenge Find Newly Renovated Courses Up to Par

After significant course enhancements early this year, the championship golf courses at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in Galena, Ill. opened this summer with a historic course design that incorporates the natural landscape of rolling hills and woodlands of the Galena Territory, creating more playable courses for golfers.

"Players will have a masterful experience on the transformed courses," said Reagan Davis, a 22-year PGA professional and the new golf director at Eagle Ridge. "I'm an avid golf historian, and I was ecstatic to get the opportunity to reinstate the original course design at Eagle Ridge. While the courses are still challenging, they are now more playable than years past. Golfers will appreciate how the course encompasses the natural features of the land as they play a world-class, challenging and rewarding round of golf."

In addition to 63 newly renovated holes laid out over our four courses, Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa offers a new restaurant, Woodstone Restaurant, and golf shop featuring an attractive selection of golf and casual wear.
