If Someone Was Looking To Golf In The Area, Why Should They Play Your Course?
Harbor Point is golf as it should be played at a brisk fun pace. With superb playing conditions and quality putting surfaces its truly an enjoyable experience. The golf enthusiast looking for a good value, great experience and timely play will be thrilled when they finish 18 holes at Harbor Point.
What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
The green complexes are challenging and smallerish than today's standards, so every golfer beware. Often times the ball will break to the bay, but not always so one must pay attention once they reach the putting surfaces/
Recent Awards or What You Are Most Proud About The Course?
I am truly proud of the excellent playing conditions we offer and the consistency of said conditioning. We offer you the best everyday!
What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
Our signature hole is #7 a 393 yard 4 par overlooking Little Traverse Bay and the Inn at Bay Harbor in the distance. Truly a breathtaking view but made even more spectacular in the fall during the color change.
What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
There are so many good holes such as the opening 436 yard 5 par that offers golfers an easy introduction to their round and potential birdie opportunity. Or the 252yard 4 par 6th hole playing straight uphill this hole is a risk reward hole for big hitters. #18 which is new after the renovations is some 397 yards long from the tips and provides excellent closure to a great day of golf.
Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
We offer excellent burgers and a remarkable veggie sandwich but everything is fresh and delicious.
Who Holds Course Record and What Was Their Score?
Since the renovation in 2008 two players have shoot 64 which is currently the lowest recorded score on file. PGA Head Professional at Harbor Point Shaun Bezilla and PGA Head Professional at Hidden River Jerry Roman.
