Give Our Readers An Overview of the Golf Course/Property
Over 200 acres of the most scenic golf holes you have ever played. Voted as one of the most valuable golf courses and rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest. We have 5 sets of tees to choose from for every level of golfer. This is not your typical "Iowa" Golf Course. The course is carved out of trees hence the name Bos Landen which stands for "Land of the Woods" in Dutch. One of the greatest golf tests in Iowa and is always highly recommended by anyone who plays the course.

If Someone Was Looking To Golf In The Area, Why Should They Play Your Course?
This is a Championship golf course at a lot less price. The greens are always the best in the state and the rest of the golf course is finely manicured where there is never a reason to blame course conditions for your round. Coupled with a great restaurant and Conference Center, along with a Hotel across the street, this is a golfing retreat for any golfer.

What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
As they always say, drive for show putt for dough. If you keep the ball in play, your score will show it. This is a course where if you get off the beaten path, you will pay the price. Greens have a lot of undulation but never play as much break as you might think.

4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest and also warded as most valuable course by Golf Digest

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
Hole #14. It is the #1 Handicapped hole, most talked about hole, most photographed hole and our signature hole. I think it is because of the beauty from tee to green. It is the most difficult hole that you will face, but are able to see everything in front of you. You tee off at one of the highest points of the course and working your way down to 2 different landing areas and then back up another 20-30 feet to an elevated green that leaves you exhausted. The beauty of this hole has everything from the tree lined fairways to the elevation changes and colors.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
Hole #4. I enjoy the water that runs the entire length of the right side of the fairway and then crosses over in front of the green to give you that constant thought of a water hazard and protected by an elevated green with a deep faced bunker strategically placed in the middle of the approach. The best way to play this hole is to snug the left side of the fairway as much as you can so you can hit as much club as you can off the tee so that you have a short iron in your hand for your approach. The higher you come in on your approach, the better chance you have at getting to any pin on this severely sloped green.

Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
Some of the best burgers you will have. However, our Bos Porkloin, The Griller or Chicken Wrap or arguably the fan favorite.

Who Holds Course Record and What Was Their Score?
I have never been told. Supposedly a 64 was shot in a Pro-Am when the course was being renovated and the par was 71. Nobody can tell me his name. Sorry!!!
