Riverwalk Golf Club is steeped in a rich tradition of golf legends past. Located in San Diego, Riverwalk offers a classic golfing experience across three unique 9 hole courses. Once host to the PGA tour in the 50's and 60's, today's players are treated to the same challenges as the classic course in the newly reborn Riverwalk. What was once flat now features undulating fairways, waterfalls and well-protected greens. Water comes into play on 13 of the 27 holes with a spectacular waterfall surrounding the green of the signature hole. The San Diego River, a prominent feature of the layout, contributes to the beauty and challenge of the course. Conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport and downtown.

What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
Riverwalk is sneaky hard. The San Diego River comes into play on many holes and the wind kicks up the challenge every afternoon. Play early to avoid the wind. The greens are very undulated, you need to keep your putter in tact here. The course is not too long, so all golfers can enjoy as much challenge as they desire or they can play it forward to enjoy the leisure and a great round of golf.

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
Mission 3 - Most golfers that arrive to the tee box at Mission 3 will have a multitude of emotions ranging from the appreciation of the beauty of our signature hole to anxiety having to hit their ball over water two times in one hole. A generous landing area is the only reprieve Mission 3 has to offer our guests. The undulating putting surface is protected on all sides, with bunkers right, a lake in front of the green and landscaped ponds and waterfalls wrap around from the back and along the left. Golfers will leave Mission 3 with a great scene and everlasting memory of what Riverwalk Golf Club is all about.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
Mission 9, you will love it or need to come back for retribution.

Heralded by many as the best hole on the property, Mission 9 is the ultimate risk/reward Par 5's Riverwalk Golf Club has to offer. Reaching 542 yards from the Blue tees, players after avoiding the very large fairway bunker that runs along the left side of the landing area, will find that a well placed lay-up second shot may leave them a good chance at hitting this green in regulation. Longer hitters can be enticed into hitting to a very small landing area on the greenside of the river. An aggressive lay-up that teases the river's edge will still give players an uphill, into the wind approach to another double teared green that is protected by multiple bunkers. Often players hitting their approach from the fairway will have observes from the Patio Bar area from the Clubhouse that sits perched over the river and the iconic bridge spanning over the San Diego River.
