Give our readers an overview of your destination and why they should consider it for their next golf trip?
The Boots Randolph Golf Course is located at the beautiful Lake Barkley State Resort Park near Cadiz KY. The course measures 6800 yards from the championship tees. An abundance of wildlife can be seen during your round of golf. We offer club and golf cart rental as well as a full service practice facility. If you prefer to walk, the course is relatively flat that encourages walking. After golf, we are relocated very close to the Lake Barkley Marina if fishing will help you unwind! The resort offers 148 lodge rooms as well as several cabins and cottages. Overlooking the lake is the Windows on the Water dining room. Fantastic buffet!!!!! You can work off your meals at the full service fitness center. Free weights, nautilus machines, swimming pool, hot tub, and racquet ball courts are available at the fitness center.

What are the must play courses in Boots Randolph Golf Course?
Within 40 minutes of Lake Barkley, Mineral Mounds and KY Dam Village golf courses offer a great golf challenge.

What is the hidden gem and/or best value course?
Cost of playing is very inexpensive. $35.00 on weekdays, $40.00 on weekends and holidays. This includes golf cart!

Can you provide our readers with an ideal itinerary for a long weekend?
Saturday morning: breakfast buffet at 7:00am. Drive 2 miles to the golf course for your 8:30 tee time.
Saturday afternoon; enjoy a replay on the golf course or just drive throughout the park or Land between the Lakes recreational area.
Return to park for evening buffet and your favorite after dinner drink.

Sunday; repeat the above!!

After golf, what are the "must do" things or attractions to see?
Visit antique shops located downtown Cadiz. Sight see in Land between the Lakes for buffalo and elk range. Or you can schedule a trap shoot on the park or visit the beach and swimming area.

What is the best time to travel?
Best time to visit are April through middle of October.
