Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge Reveals Extensive $2.5 Million Renovations

Coral Hospitality-GA, LLC today announced the completion of the first of a two-phase renovation project at Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge totaling $2.5 million. All public spaces, as well as 30 guestrooms at the Helena, Georgia lodge, received extensive upgrades, just in time to welcome guests for the fall season.

The property's on-site dining venue, Fairway Grill, also received a refresh with a coat of paint and new carpeting. The park's history dates back to the 1930s when it was constructed by members of the Civilian Conservation Corps. The golf course was designed by O.C. Jones of the Robert Trent Jones family and opened in 1965 and is one of the best state park layouts in the Peach State. The second phase of renovations is scheduled to be completed by winter 2020 and valued at $2 million, upgrading the remaining lodge rooms with modern amenities and a refreshed design.
