By David Theoret

If you're a fashion-conscious lady who likes to look her best and want to hit the links in style, we know exactly where you can get the perfect look you've been searching for, and perhaps, where your best value might be found.

The name of this upscale and trendy apparel company is sailor-sailor. As the name implies, much of their apparel has a nautical them, which isn't a far stretch because most of us hit it into the water at some point. When you look at sailor-sailor's nautical themed dresses you'll have several different styles to choose from. One of their most versatile dresses would be the Britt Dress. It has a zippered placket with a structured collar and a bevy of pockets necessary for any golf dress. The Britt Dress comes in an array of pattern choices such as Houndstooth Azure Blue/White, Royal/ White Gem, Navy/White Gem, and several prints to choose from including some stripes and gingham patterns that will add something special to any wardrobe.

Looking for in design that is perhaps a little more unique? Check out their Boardwalk Dress. With a slightly higher neckline, it provides a bit more coverage, and also has that slimming "fit and flair" that can flatter just about any figure. The Boardwalk dress comes in several bright cheerful prints such as Rugby Fish, Blossoms Navy/White, Sailboats, and several other options.

If you're looking for that simple, straight, comfortable, dress that can literally be worn for just about any occasion, look no further than the Yacht Club Shift Dress. The Yacht Club Shift is clearly designed to be that go to dress for whatever you might need, whenever you need it. The Yacht Club Shift Dress is available in a bright Sea Star print in either Blue/Green or Pink/Green; there are also several other Blue and White options if you prefer something a little more subtle. All the dresses offered by sailor-sailor are available in sizes XS - XL and are priced around $155.

Sailor-sailor does offer much more than just dresses. Their Golf Skort is second to none. With its flowing A-Line design, it leaves plenty of room for your golf stance and provides full range of motion to get through your swing with confidence. The "shorties" that come with it give you ample coverage, so you can concentrate on your game. Pair it with the Britt Sleeveless Top and you have the perfect combination for looking and feeling great on the course. This golf skort is available in some head turning prints and in bright and beautiful colors.

Sailor-sailor is a phenomenal company for women's resort wear. Comfortable and stylish, they come up with some amazing designs crafted from technologically advanced fabric that are not only breathable and have incredible moisture wicking qualities, many offer a UPF 50+ finish for superior sun protection. Their styles can literally be worn anywhere. The best part about falling in love with a dress or skort designed by sailor-sailor is that there's a good chance it will return the next season completely revamped with a new pattern and in bright new colors too.

These are just a few of the new pieces offered in the Spring 2018 collection. To see the entire collection, visit their website at www.sailor-sailor.com.

About: David Theoret

David Theoret David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.

Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.

After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
