- Great for Both Men and Women!
By David Theoret
Antigua has really upped their game when it comes to functional eye-popping golf apparel. Looking at the color palette for the Spring 2020 season it's easy to say that was once referred to as your grandfather's golf apparel no longer claims that title.
A great outerwear piece for the ladies this season is Paradox, a long sleeve pullover sewn from Antigua's Desert Dry moisture wicking jersey fabric with a brushed back and heather contrasting self-fabric inset side panels with extra stretch and a pop of color. Paradox boasts a self-fabric stand-up collar with zip placket and an "A" logo at bottom hem. This sporty ladies' outerwear piece is available in sizes M - XL and in a number of color combinations.
Antigua's Backspin Leggings feature a self-fabric waistband for uncompromised comfort and the stretch jersey ankle-length leg fits snugly to the skin. The Backspin Leggings are available in sizes S - L and in Black or Heathered Gray. The contrasting stitching really shows on the Heathered Gray and actually looks great.
The Flagstaff Skort is a favorite among the ladies. The Desert Dry fabric wick moisture away from the skin keeping you cool and dry. The two front pockets provide ample storage and a zippered back pocket will hold most scorecards. The stretch jersey knit dyed-to-match waistband adds comfort. the stretch knit undershorts add modesty and the herringbone pattern on this solid woven skort adds a touch of style. The Flagstaff Skort is available in sizes S -2XL and in nine vibrant colors.
The Payson Sleeveless Polo is a multi-color space dye jersey sleeveless polo with a mandarin collar and zippered placket. The Desert Dry moisture wicking fabric keeps you cool and dry throughout your round and the A" logo on the bottom hem lets other know your favorite brand. The Payson Sleeveless Polo is available in sizes XS - 2XL and in several colors. It pairs well with the Flagstaff Skort.
Another great ladies' outerwear piece is the Luna ¼ Zip. This long sleeve pullover features a self-collar and zip placket. It's sewn from a 95% polyester/5% spandex space dye stripe jacquard knit with a brushed back lower body. The irregular heather pattern adds a nice touch and there's an Antigua "A" logo on the right sleeve. Luna is available in sizes S - 2XL and in eight different colors.
The Opal Polo is sure to turn some heads. This short sleeve polo is sewn from a Desert Dry moisture wicking jersey knit fabric and features a self-collar, button placket, and open cuff. What sets this polo apart is the allover sublimation print in three colors. The Opal Polo is available in sizes XS - 2XL and in 6 multi-colored print. Antigua's "A" logo adorns the right sleeve.
The Women's' Tribute Long Sleeve Polo features a self-collar, two-button "Y" placket, open cuff and princess seams. The interlock knit fabric with Desert Dry moisture wicking keeps you cool and dry and there's an Antigua triangle patch on the right sleeve. The Tribute is available in sizes S - 2XL and in 8 brilliant colors.
Another favorite Skort from Antigua is the Cinch Skort featuring Desert Dry Xtra-Lite D²XL moisture wicking and stretch knit undershorts. This jersey knit skort has an elastic tie detail at front with cinching capability to create your own look. The self-fabric waistband with shirring is comfortable and looks great. The Cinch Skort is available in sizes S - XL and 11 different colors and prints.
Much like the ladies' Flagstaff Skort, the men's Flagstaff Short is a stretch woven heather mini herringbone jacquard short with front hip pockets, two on-seam back zip pockets and five belt loops at waistband. Deseret Dry moisture wicking keeps you cool and dry. The Flagstaff Short is available in sizes 32 - 42 and in Black Navy Heather and Smoke Heather.
The Men's Payson Polo is sewn from a space dye jersey knit fabric with Desert Dry moisture wicking. The Payson Polo features a self-collar and narrow 3-button placket. Open cuffs on the sleeves and side slits hep provide added ventilation. There's an Antigua "A" logo at right sleeve. It's available in sizes M - 2XL and in Black Multi, Cinder Multi, Plum Multi, and Denim Multi.
Antigua's Atlantic Vest is a lightweight woven full zip vest with horizontal quilted in the front and back panels. Zippered hand pockets provide plenty of secure storage and the Antigua "A" logo on the back neck identifies the brand. I'm not partial to vests, but this one is truly lightweight, comfortable and warm. The Atlantic Vest is available in Smoke, Black, White, and Navy in sizes M - 2XL.
The Men's Flash Polo is a mini box pattern closed knit mesh, short sleeve polo with sublimation print on the front panel. The self-collar and 3-button placket is a classic golf look. The separation between the front panel, sleeves and back panel creates a subtle look that is sure to turn a few heads. The Flash Polo is available in sizes S - 2XL and in Black Multi, Dark Pine Multi, Navy Multi, Dark Royal Multi, Steel Multi and Mango Multi. There's an Antigua "A" logo on the right cuff.
Like Stripes? Antigua's Relay Polo is a 2-color engineered tonal stripe interlock knit polo with short sleeves, a self-collar and 3-button placket. The striped front panel is done in a striking gradient-like design with solid color sleeves and back panel. There's an Antigua "A" logo on the right cuff. The Relay Polo is available in sizes S - 2XL and in Navy, Dark Royal and Mango.

David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.
Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.
After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
