Whether you have played a course 20+ times a year or looking to play the course for the first time, insights from an insider can help enhance your golf experience. Give Our Readers An Overview of the Golf Course/Property
Our website, sums it up best: We invite you to "Play the Canyon" at Cold Water Canyon Golf Course, located at Chula Vista Resort - one of Wisconsin's most historic golf courses. 18 challenging holes await you on a course that boasts a traditional style front nine that was built in 1923. The exciting new back nine features link-style hills, moguls and bunkers that create secluded fairways that will enhance your golf experience.

Cold Water Canyon offers lush greens, canyon fairways and breathtaking views for players of all ability levels. Perfect for a day escape with your friends and family, group outing, or your next golf event.

From my view, our course offers players of all levels a beautiful and challenging experience. Two separate experiences, from the 2nd oldest 9 in the state with tight fairways and smaller greens with beautifully manicured greens, tees and fairways to a back nine that offers the links style course that is just breathtaking.

If Someone Was Looking To Golf In The Area, Why Should They Play Your Course?
In my opinion, we are the best value for your dollar with the best conditions offered in the Dells area.

Greens are spectacular with perfectly manicured fairways and tees. Its what all golf courses should be like playable and rewarding if you hit it straight.

What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
Don't always need to hit driver, placement of your tee shot to the proper spot will help attack the smaller greens. Shot makers course that is playable for every lever of golfer.

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
In my opinion its 18.

The most beautiful view on the course from the tee. Tight tee shot that can reward the longer hitter with a chance to get home in two on this beautiful par 5 finishing hole.

Tight second shot that takes a precise shot to leave a short iron into a undulating green. Must be on the proper side and level of the green to have a makeable putt for birdie or par.

Great challenge but fair with good golf shots.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
Same as above.

Love the beauty and challenge of the hole. My best tip would be to hit 3 wood or long iron off the tee and its usually not reachable in 2. Play for a 3 shot hole and keep out of the long prairie grasses to have a chance to at par or birdie.

Placement not length will make this hole more playable.

Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
Will have more info once the new clubhouse it finished with new dining options.

Who Holds Course Record and What Was Their Score?
Former Director of Golf, Shawn Wenkman holds the course record. 62 from the blacks
