Streamsong Resort Hires Michael Scully as New Director of Golf

Streamsong® Resort is pleased to announce Michael Scully as the new Director of Golf. In his new role he will oversee operations at the award-winning trio of courses: Streamsong Red, Streamsong Blue, and Streamsong Black, and manage a staff of golf professionals and outside service personnel who provide the exceptional experiences for which Streamsong is known.
Scully has 20 years of experience in golf operations, and has served as the director of golf and general manager at several prestigious venues across the country. Scully comes to Streamsong from VICI Properties, in Las Vegas, Nevada where he was general manager. Prior to his role in Nevada, he served as general manager at Reynolds Plantation and director of golf operations at Desert Mountain Club and Medinah Country Club during which time both a PGA Championship and a Ryder Cup were held.
"Michael is an industry veteran and respected leader with proven success in creating memorable guest experiences," said Kevin Kennedy, general manager of Streamsong. Scully's past positions involve managing multiple departments including food and beverage, golf, agronomy, marinas, fitness/spa, hotel rooms and housekeeping. He has executed several capital projects including multiple golf course and clubhouse renovations, and has spearheaded successful efforts aimed at improving and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Streamsong Spring Classic(3/27-29): Kick off the spring of 2022 with this 2-person best ball competition, which includes two rounds of golf(Red & Blue), two nights at the Streamsong Lodge, a pairings party and an awards luncheon. Streamsong Family Cup(6/17-19): Spend Father's Day weekend at Streamsong and enjoy a memorable family competition. 2-person teams can be made up of family members of all generations and no handicap is required Groups/divisions will be determined by the age of the youngest competitor, and all ages are welcome to play. The Family Cup includes a first round scramble on Streamsong Red and a second round 2-person best ball on Black, two nights at the Streamsong Lodge, a pairings party and an awards luncheon. Streamsong Summer Classic(8/21-23): A seasonal favorite at the Resort, this 4-ball tournament(2-person best ball teams) includes two rounds of golf (one on Red and one on Black), two nights at Streamsong Lodge, a pairings party and an awards luncheon. Streamsong Fall Classic(10/23-26): This fourball competition provides a chance to play a tournament on each of Streamsong's award-winning courses. 2-person teams will compete in a bestball format across Red, Blue & Black, along with three nights at the Streamsong Lodge, a pairings party and an awards luncheon. Streamsong Holiday Cup(12/11-13): Close out 2022 with one of the most fun competitions of the year, where the format changes every nine holes! 2-person teams will play Red on day one in a front nine scramble and back nine chapman format. Then on day two at Black teams will play a two-person best ball on the front followed by s shamble on the back side.
