Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler, Arizona provides a secluded getaway. Stewards to the land, the Gila River Indian Community has developed a sanctuary for all types of resort goers that is true to their heritage and culture. With history going back to 300 BC, the story of struggle and resolve lead both the Pima and Maricopa tribes to where they are today. As stewards to a resort that surrounds its guests in history and culture, every detail of the over 372,000 acre resort is a tangible tribute to the tribes.
The Aji Spa at Wild Horse Pass Resort reflects the heritage of the Gila River Indian Community in a way you won't experience anywhere else on the property. The artwork and décor in the 17,000 square foot facility speaks to the culture of days gone by. A feature exhibit is an Olas Ki. This historic dwelling was used to provide shelter in the winter.
