Description
Alvin Golf & Country Club is a family-owned business owned and operated by Patrick & Karen Farrell, who purchased the golf course on February 12, 2004. From 1946, when Karen's grandparents Art & Ethelind Schacht were founding members, until the time of the purchase, the club was owned by 50 stock members and run by a board of directors. Karen & Patrick were stock members at the time of the purchase, after buying her grandparents' stock certificate from her father at the time of their passing.
