Description
The Beverly Country Club, established in 1908, is one of the premier golf courses in Chicago. From its inception, Beverly was the site of championship golf. In 1910, Beverly hosted its first of four Western Open championships, won by legendary amateur Charles (Chick) Evans, Jr. In 1930, Beverly saw Jack Westland win the Western Amateur. Then, in 1931, Francis Ouimet captured his second amateur title as Beverly hosted the 35th National Amateur Championship.
