The NMU Golf Course is part of Northern Michigan University and is located just South of the city of Marquette, Michigan., about nine miles from the NMU main campus.
The course is a Jerry and Bruce Mathews III design. It is surrounded by wooded areas, homes and condos.
In 1993, the course saw the completion of its full 18 holes. It features a fair amount of roll to it with a few natural windswept bunkers, and very little water. Golfers also enjoy the competitive rates and a pleasant atmosphere.
