Leave the rest of the world behind as you experience a dramatic and exhilarating course with natural elevation changes, beautiful landscaped environments and impeccable playing conditions. With its manicured greens, thick stands of moss-draped oaks and wide open spaces, our 18 hole championship course will challenge every level of golfer.

Since opening in January of 1994, the Country Club of Ocala has hosted numerous USGA, regional PGA, and Florida State Golf Association events such as the Florida Mid-Amateur Championship (2002), the State Senior Amateur Championship (2000), the US Womens Amateur Championship Qualifying (1999), and the 1998 Southeast Challenge Matches. Most recently, the club hosted the 2006 Amateur Match Play, the 2007 State Junior Championship and the 2009 FSGA Challenge Cup.

Private and group instruction is available year round from our professional staff for all skill levels. The golf staff coordinates a full tournament schedule to insure a healthy dose of competition as well as avenues for local fund raising for area charities. Walking is permitted, but as an added bonus, unlimited cart play is included in the golf membership.

Designed by architect Steve Nugent, the course is a 7101 yard, par 72 adventure in peaceful seclusion surrounded by a private, gated neighborhood. Twice voted Best Golf Course by Ocala Magazine, each round brings a challenging test of ability. The practice facility features three putting greens, short game practice area, instructional tee, private practice tee, and full driving range with complimentary range balls.

Our golf shop offers a wide selection of hardware from top names in the golf industry such as Callaway, Titleist, and TaylorMade as well as professional club fitting on site. We maintain well stocked departments of both ladies and mens apparel, shoes, headwear and accessories from well known manufacturers like Carnoustie, Tehama, Sport Haley, FootJoy, and Dooney & Bourke.
