Description
Since 1934, Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia has hosted the annual Masters tournament on the PGA Tour. The course was designed on the site of a former cotton plantation by golfing legend Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts, and first opened for play in January of 1933. The course is a perennial top-10 ranked site in all major golf publications, even taking the top spot as recently as 2009. Course membership is private, and its length sits at just over 7,400 yards. The course record for lowest score is held by both Nick Price and Greg Norman, both recording a 63.
