Description
The Gadsden Country Club and golf shop were opened in July of 1919 making it one of the oldest clubs in the State of Alabama. The course measures just over 6600 yards from the back tees and plays to a par 71. The course has hosted many of the state top amateur tournaments as well as many of the Dixie Section PGA events. The one characteristic that makes the GCC golf course so enjoyable is the chance for every player to hit every club in their bag and hit any shot in their bag. It is a fair test for the beginning golfer and offers a good challenge for the better golfer.
Gadsden Country Club offers one of the best tournament, men's, ladies, and junior programs in Etowah county. We have 15 tournament on the schedule this year which includes our annual Member-Guest tournament, Men's Club Championship, and Men's Invitational. Our Men's, Ladies, and Junior program are all very active with dogfight groups, group and individual lessons, couples scramble, and pro-am tournaments on Monday's.
