Legitimate Birdie Opportunities for Every Golfer!
Designed, built and opened in 1998, Indian Run Golf Club was created to be a true, golfer-friendly course. Sprawling over 160 wind-swept acres, this moderate-length course plays like a links course without the mammoth length. Measuring 6,475-yards from the blue tees, Indian Run offers a solid challenge for the long hitter. Definite eagle opportunities exist on the par 5, 7th and 14th, both reachable for the heavy-hitter, but beware the risks presented by some of the multiple, ball-swallowing water hazards and deep out-of bounds. Both holes present tantalizing risk-reward situations.

For those who take their golf a little tamer, the white tees measure 5,991 yards and the gold/senior tees measure a healthy 5,309. A big part of what sets Indian Run apart from the other courses in the area is that Indian Run is extremely playable and friendly for seniors and those who don't carry the ball as far as they used to.

Much of Indian Run is Scottish, links-style. The fairways are very wide, but bordered by Scottish rough that seems to take as much delight in hiding golf balls as the Easter bunny does eggs. Hit it in this rough, and more-often-than-not, you'll face stroke-and-distance.
