Description
In a see-saw match, Dan and Steve jumped out to a quick lead with birdies on 2 of the first 3 holes. Jack Finlayson and Tom Harvey battled back to even the match when Tom birdied the 7th hole. Dan and Steve edged ahead for good winning holes 8, 11, and 12 building a 3 up lead and held on for the final winning margin of 3 & 2. For Jack and Tom, it was a bit of deja-vu finishing runner-up for the 2nd straight year.
The Consolation flight fell a bit behind schedule. TJ Lombardini and Steve Jepsen will play the finals against the winners of the of the semi-final match of Steve Corr & Scott Carroll vs. Rich Laurendeau & Paul Carroll. that match is scheduled to be played next Tuesday.
