Embark on an adventure on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway where the world's largest rotating tramcars car take riders on a breathtaking journey from the desert floor to the alpine wilderness of Mt. A winter getaway to PGA WEST® and Greater Palm Springs would not be complete without seeing a live polo match, a thrilling equestrian sport once reserved only for royalty. Pack a picnic basket and a bottle of sparkly and head over to Eldorado Polo Club for a Sunday Polo tailgating experience to watch world-class athletes compete in a breathtaking outdoor setting. Additional dining options include the Clubhouse Restaurant, VIP Cabanas, and the Cantina, a locals' favorite to watch all the action on the big screen. The 2024 polo season begins January 7 and ends on March 24, and tickets will be available online starting December 1, 2023.

Equestrian enthusiasts can witness more electrifying displays of horsemanship at the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal. One of the largest equestrian facilities in North America, the destination annually hosts 15 weeks—from October through March—of exciting hunter/jumper and dressage competition.

For an unforgettable desert adventure, saddle up your own horse and ride off into the desert sunset. Local and nearby stables offer a variety of guided public and private trail rides.

Modernism Week features more than 350 events including the Modernism Show & Sale, signature home tours, films, lectures, premier double decker architectural bus tours, nightly parties and live music, walking and bike tours, tours of Sunnylands, fashion, classic cars, modern garden tours, a vintage travel trailer exhibition, and more.
