Golf Course Information

Description

Mallard Cove is Lake Charles' home course and features 25 large bunkers and water hazards on 12 of the 18 holes. Being located adjacent to an old airbase can provide another challenge: wind. The otherwise straightforward layout offers numerous holes with unique risk/reward options. In particular, the Par five 18th hole is a big dogleg right with a generous fairway to the left and a large pond and slight strip of land straight ahead.

Mallard Cove Golf Course is the only public golf course in Lake Charles. It provides the "Best Value" of any golf course in the area. While it is the Best Value, it is also tops in greens. Our greens our well maintained throughout the year, often times being the fastest too! Our facility continues to maintain it's consistency in beating the customer's expectations.

It is a busy place, so make sure to book your tee time up to 48 hours in advance. Mallard Cove hosts 40,000 rounds of golf per year.
