Description
Nice, gently rolling golf course with the ultimate in high quality greens--Champion ultradwarf bermuda. While Champion has only been on the market since 1996, it is rapidly becoming the buzz in bermuda circles and is even replacing bentgrass in the South on many courses that desire bentgrass quality putting surfaces and bermuda heat tolerance. The ball rolls true and fast on Champion, just like excellent bentgrass greens. Tee boxes are zoysia and bermuda. Fairways are bermudagrass.
Many large mature trees with several creeks winding through the course. Par is 71 and the course is very well maintained with a rich tradition and history. A new fleet of carts were acquired in 2007 and GPS units were installed on each cart in order to enhance the players' experience at Paxton Park.

May-October Weekdays Before 2, $33.50 18 Holes, incl cart. Weekdays after 2 $27.50, incl cart.
Weekends & Holidays Before 2, $37.50 18 holes, incl cart. Saturday after 2, "2 for 1" green fee special, $21, incl cart (double occupancy). Sunday after 2, $30.50 for 18 holes, incl cart.
Carts are equipped with GPS units--only course in the area with this.
