Description
Developed by Douglas Diez in 1997, Pelican Point provides golfers with one of the South's premiere golf facilities. Located just off the banks of the Mississippi River in Gonzales, Louisiana and behind the historic Houmas House Plantation, Pelican Point combines British style golf with a Louisiana flair. The course, designed by Ferris Land Design, Inc., covers 250 acres of what was once a sugar cane farm. It also includes 30 acres of lakes that meander through the prestigious Pelican Point Golf Community.
Pelican Point Golf Club is located only 20 minutes from Baton Rouge and 35 minutes from the New Orleans International Airport, (1.5 miles South of Interstate 10) thus providing locals, visitors, convention attendees, and businesses easy access via Interstate 10. (See Map) Pelican Point welcomes you to the finest in championship golf and a wealth of amenities suited for families of all sizes.
