Description
Situated about 4 miles away from the main clubhouse, Pinehurst No. 10 is the first original golf course at Pinehurst Resort in nearly 30 years. No. 10 is designed by one of golf’s most prolific modern architects, Tom Doak, and is the first course located at the new Pinehurst Sandmines. The landscape underlying Doak’s newest design features all that is natural to golf in the North Carolina Sandhills, including native wiregrass, extensive sandscape, towering longleaf pines and rolling hills. It is the perfect blend of the resort’s past and a preview into the future. No. 10 is a fresh take on the American Home of Golf and represents the next chapter in Pinehurst Resort’s storied history. The result is a layout that is distinctly Doak, uniquely Pinehurst.
