Golf Course Review: Deer Haven Golf Club
Not too shabby
I wouldn't rank this as one of my favorite courses ever, and a couple holes just don't fit into my game. But if you come in thinking this is basically a par 3 course with a few par 4's thrown in, you'll be fine. Good shots are rewarded, bad shots lose balls.
As for the review that talked about the blind shot on hole 16, either it's been changed a little since then or something. I could see the green through the trees and made a nice shot over them to birdie the hole. I also hit an 8 on a different hole. I'm not sweating it too much and I'm not going to blame my game on good or bad course design.
I will return to this course, but I'll probably hit up the early bird special.
