Golf Course Review: Brighton Dale Links
Great Course (Shhh)
I have gone to Brighton Dale several times over the past several years. Having played most of the courses in the Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin area, I am constantly amazed at how well this course (blue and white courses) is maintained, the consistent conditions of the greens, and the pace of play.
Perhaps because it is located in Metropolitan Kansasville, it has far less traffic than one would expect for the price charged. It is one of the lower priced good courses in the State (with even better values available on line), but it is a 30 minute drive from Milwaukee, and a 20 minute drive from Racine or Kenosha.
This course is well worth the drive.
If you are a newer golfer ... bring balls. The course is gorgeous, but there are a plethora of places to lose the balls hit left or right. Do not slow play looking for those balls. With the prices charged ... just bring extras.
When you get to the point where you do not lose the balls, you will really enjoy the course from both a golf and beauty perspective.
The golf shop is well-stocked and the food is surprisingly good.
Highly recommend this to players of any handicap... but play the appropriate tees. You and your fellow golfers will have a great time!
