Golf Course Review: Decatur Lake Golf Course
Golf course needs to keep up with Billy/F & B
Absent ownership (I think) takes capital away from grounds crew maintaining the golf course as it once was. Front 9 is OK, back nine ... be careful in sand traps unless you want to replace your sand wedge. More rocks than sand.
Looks like ownership was cheap on the newer back 9 and got what they paid for. No liners in the bunkers - hence the rocks crop up each Spring as the ground thaws. Sprinkler system is aging as are the carts and paths. No capital invested from ownership --- you get what you pay for.

Based on my experience: I would not play the course again.
