Best deal for world class golf

3 courses, all uniquely different including "one directly from Scotland". I plan at least two trips each year and Lakewood Shores is always one of our destinations, if you like "value" for elite golf then this is what you would call a "no-brainer", I have always had good service and felt like I was valued, course conditions fabulous and well manicured, rooms are much bigger than you'd expect and they don't "gouge" on food/beverage and the price-point for golf is exceptional. I've been going to Lakewood Shores for almost 20 years and can attest to the resort having everything you want out of a golf destination - three tracks that are different and The Gailes is something you just won't find anywhere locally (best examples on similarities are Eagle Eye in Lansing, Indianwood CC in Lake Orion and possibly Arcadia Bluffs in Arcadia), Blackshire is more of that "Northern Michigan" course and Serradella is just a nice "playable" track that is the most benign of their three courses
