Golf Course Review: Old Bridge Golf Club
Dandelion fest.
Went to play a practice round for an upcoming tournament. The fairways were spotty. They were full of dandeions and the greens were so rough, when you putt a ball for a 4 foot par and the ball hits 10 bumps where the divots were not fixed, and it looked like the geese or something had been tearing them up. . Apparently the greens were "punched" not long ago and there are holes all over them, and it looked like they did not use any sand. There are also bare spots on the greens, it is not funny. I lost a sleeve of golf balls in the fairway due to all the dandelions. Not a good day at all! Would not recommend anyone who plays serious golf to go and play this course. I played this course when it used to be something nice. But not now. The golf cart we were using today had a busted windshield,(golf ball had been hit through it), and the brakes went all the way to the floor. Had to turn the front tires to one side or the other to make sure it would hold on a hill. I would be ashamed of the way some of the people were acting in the bar area also (patrons). Definitely, not kid friendly.
