Great resort with two Troon managed golf courses

The Ocean Course was the first course I played on Puerto Rico. It was designed by Tom and George Fazio, and the father-son duo did a wonderful job. The best holes are the closing ones, with the ocean dramatically entering the picture. The other course - the River Course by Greg Norman - is supposedly more challenging, but I can't say since we didn't play it yet. The Ocean Course is extremely player friendly, which is not to say that there aren't some very finely designed and challenging golf holes. But the architects always offer you a smart play to avoid hazards. We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort, of which the courses are amenities. That added to our superb experience, as it is gorgeous, well run, and has a vast number of activities and amenities to choose from (casino, pools, outdoor or indoor bar, spa, and multiple eateries to choose from). The hotel and courses are near El Yunque, the Island's rainforest, so the views are incredible.
