TPC Louisiana

This course has been on my bucket list for a while. My goal is to play all the courses the pros (PGA, LPGA, etc) play. TPC Louisana is a classic Pete Dye course. Nerving trouble to contend with stand on the tee. If you hug the trouble you have an easier approach. If you bail out you typically have a longer and harder shot into the green. Hole #12 has an iconic tree at the apex of the dog leg left. Many of the greens are surrounded by pesky small sand traps. Not uncommon to be standing in one or out of one for a chip. Hole #18 is the signature hole featuring a long par 5 with water on the right. The green is heavily protected with sand/water that will punish golfers going for it in two. The safe play is to layup 100 yards and attack from there. TPC Louisana hosts the Zurich Classic with a unique two man format.
