Golf Course Review: Ellsworth Country Club
9 hole country course with small town atmosphere
Bar area and no pro shop was very friendly. Greens were countryish and a little rough but seemed to roll ok. Teeboxes were fair. Rough wasn't cut bad. Fairway was mostly just there but there were a number of bad spots likely due to recent record rainfall this year in that area. Sandtraps were a little rough and the water hazards needed some cleaning up. Carts were basic gas but weren't bad. Course was decent laid out for hits but a few holes were a little tight that that had golfers playing from other fairways. Rates were somewhat high for this quality course....but had deals in drinks to make up for it. The course website was advanced to pay online. Overall, down to earth good time that didn't fully break the bank.
