Description
Sea Palms Resort is the only resort on St. Simons Island to offer 27 holes of championship golf on site. Our courses were designed by George Cobb and Tom Jackson in 1967. The courses have established themselves as one of the Golden Isles' most rewarding courses, offering challenging play for golfers of all skill levels.
In his prime, George Cobb created more than 100 original golf course designs, along with dozens of redesigns. His most prominent design is his shortest course - the Par 3 Course at Augusta National Golf Club, completed in 1959. He was also the original designer of Quail Hollow Golf Club in Charlotte NC.
Sea Palms golf amenities also include private lessons, practice putting green, short game practice areas and a driving range. Our golf staff can help plan tournament formats, pairings, scoring and cart staging. Rental clubs are also available.
