Description

In 1991, famed golf course architect Rees Jones linked his name forever with the great golf of the North Carolina Sandhills when he debuted Talamore Golf Club. Since receiving the designation as Best New Course in the South by Golf Digest, Talamore has been consistently ranked at the forefront for outstanding courses in the Village of Pinehurst area. Talamore's clubhouse, pool and cabana are all conveniently located next to the Talamore Golf Villas, which were constructed shortly after the club's opening. The Talamore Golf Villas have long been a favorite among golfers vacationing in the area for their wonderful amenities and panoramic views of the Resort Course's signature finishing hole.

The second facility added to the Talamore Golf Resort was the Mid South Club, originally known as Pinehurst Plantation. A private club, Mid South features a fantastic layout designed by "The King" Arnold Palmer. In 2005, the Lodges at Mid South opened, offering the most well-appointed amenities in the Sandhills and giving the Resort over 200 rooms of luxurious and comfortable accommodations, most featuring expansive golf course views.

Mid South and Talamore golf courses have affiliate ownership and as part of the Talamore Family of Clubs are offering one of the area's premier Multi-Club Membership programs. Our Arnold Palmer and Rees Jones designed golf courses are very complimentary to each other and offer a modern golf challenge with layouts that meander through a landscape of native pine trees, wetlands and crystal lakes. Membership is currently available to property owners within the Mid South and Talamore communities. Memberships are being offered by certain home builders or resale property with an existing Membership in good standing. The current club facilities at Talamore features a pool, cabana, and clubhouse along with convenient access to the 95-acre lake and 2 mile jogging and biking trail at Reservoir Park. Mid South's new 25,000 sq ft Clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts and 19th hole opened to rave reviews in 2007. Exquisite amenities. Great location. For more than ten years The Talamore Golf Villas have been a perennial favorite amongst golfers traveling to the Sandhills area.
The Resort Villas have grown to accommodate more than 400 golfers in well appointed 2 and 3-bedroom accommodations. Talamore's Villas spectacular views of Reservoir Park and Talamore's 41?2 star Rees Jones golf course and are widely recognized as the most successful on-site condominium accommodation program in the Village of Pinehurst area. Also, Talamore offers access to the Reservoir Park and Moore County Greenway Trails. The trail is available for running, walking, and biking.

The Lodges at Mid South is a grouping of 16 high-end luxury condominiums located in the clubhouse compound with fabulous views stretching from #1 fairway all the way across to #9, #18 and the new 19th hole.
