Highlighted by views of the Gore Mountain Range, Vails mountain-style, 18-hole course features unique fairways, smooth putting surfaces and a scenic layout amidst the White River National Forest. The fairways are tree-lined and generally flat, but numerous greenside and fairway bunkers, as well as beaver ponds, will test a golfers accuracy. Vails course features 7,024 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. A course rating of 70.8 and slope rating of 121 make it a truly spectacular experience for golfers of all skill levels. Recognized by Golf Digest as a "Top 100 Resort Course," golfers enjoy watching their balls fly 10 percent farther in Vails high altitude environment, while they challenge themselves on greens that follow the scenic Gore Creek.
