Description
Wil-Mar's original nine holes opened in 1961 when landowners William (Bill) and Mary Allen utilized the family farmland to venture into the golf business. In 1977, Mrs. Allen and her children expanded the course to an 18-hole layout. Located only four miles from Raleigh's city limits, Wil~Mar's spacious front nine and tree-lined back nine offer a challenge to all levels of golfers. Along with the beauty of year-round fairways, the natural beauty of the surrounding wetlands and forest lends itself to abundant wildlife.
