Description
You'll find Williston Golf Club in the heart of the Historic Village of Williston. There, golfers play one of the very best maintained courses in all of New England and enjoy a brisk four hour round. Refreshingly, Williston does not conform to the modern model of golf course design. It is an old style parkland layout that was built the old fashion way, using the natural features of the land. It demands strategic play and accurate shot making. Many consider it the most unique and beautiful course they have ever played.
Each hole has it own individual character and has been aptly named. For example, there's the #14 hole The Vermonster: a long par-4 that includes a double dogleg and is one of the toughest holes in Vermont. Par is a tremendous achievement, even for Jeff Murray, the club owner and former Vermont State Amateur Champion.
