Crane's Landing Public Golf Course Opens April 1 with Fresh New Programming

A Favorite Chicagoland Public Golf Course Opens for the 2017 Golf Season and Announces Summer Programming Featuring both LPGA and PGA Professionals and a New Indoor Golf Simulator

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. (March 30, 2017) - As spring works its way back to the Midwest, Crane's Landing Golf Course at the Chicago Marriott Lincolnshire Resort, is pleased to announce its opening date this Saturday, April 1, and new exciting summer clinics for local golf enthusiasts, families, women, and travelers.

Known as a favorite public golf course in the Northshore, Chicagoland area, Crane's Landing offers an array of challenges for both beginning and seasoned golfers alike. Crane's Landing is a par 70, 18 hole facility that plays all of 6,290 yards. It sits upon 110 acres of preserved woodlands and is a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Crane's Landing provides golfers with breathtaking views of undisturbed natural beauty and six holes that run along the Des Plaines River. The clubhouse also now features a new golf simulator that has a driving range in addition to 15 PGA golf courses to choose from and play.

This season, golf enthusiasts can mark their calendars for two unique golf clinics taking place at the resort:

* Saturday, June 24 - Celebrating National Women's Golf Month, Crane's Landing welcomes the LPGA's Jennifer Feldott Hall, as an honorary clinic co-host.
* Saturday, July 29 - Local 'Golf Doctor,' John Esposito will co-host an interactive golf clinic, in recognition of National Family Golf Month.

"Crane's Landing is a one-of-a-kind public course in the Chicagoland area that has been providing challenges for golfers of all ages and levels, since opening in 1975," says E.J. Bertke, Director of Golf and PGA Apprentice at Crane's Landing. "The clinics we are hosting this season are great ways for those not familiar with Crane's Landing to become acclimated with the course, and learn new techniques to improve their game - no matter their level of expertise."

The clinics take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and are $20 per attendee.

Each clinic will provide golfers of all levels new techniques they can apply to their game. In addition, expert guests - LPGA's Jennifer Hall and Chicagoland's 'Golf Doctor' John Esposito - will be on-hand, alongside Crane's Landing Director of Golf and PGA Apprentice, E.J. Bertke, to help attendees perfect their drives, swings and putts. Additional details about each clinic will be announced at a later date.

Crane's Landing's new E6 golf stimulator features a variety of PGA golf courses to challenge players of all levels. The recreational simulator can be utilized during course hours, and rented for special parties and events.
Crane's Landing is a public golf course and is open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The course offers a variety of player and event packages, and three tiers of annual membership, as well as a junior golf membership for those aged 17 and younger.
