AN ICONIC COURSE IN THE HEART OF SUNRIVER RESORT’S GREAT MEADOW
Envisioned by acclaimed architect John Fought, the Meadows course features tremendous variety within its 18 holes, seven of which border the meandering Sun River. Fought's design pays tribute to the great American golf courses of the 1920s and 30s with its aesthetic grace, while its dramatic use of directional and fore-bunkers serve up ample challenges for golfers of all skill levels. Meadows has played host to numerous PGA, USGA and NCAA golf championships, including the PGA Cup and the NCAA Men's Division I championship tournament.
The opening hole at Meadows is a good test to start with. Bunkers line the right side of the fairway leaving a difficult drive. However, if well executed, it will leave a short iron in to a generous two-tiered green.
Sunriver Golf Club members enjoy access to the Meadows and Woodlands golf courses, reserved for members and resort guests. Whether you’re an avid golfer seeking unlimited access or a casual player looking for flexibility, membership comes with preferred tee times and exclusive play.
Gray’s Trail is an 18-hole putting course that borders the Meadows course, located behind The Lodge at Sunriver Resort. Named after Sunriver Resort visionary John Gray, the course features a bentgrass putting surface and provides a fun challenge for every level of golfer. Available on a first-come, basis after registering at the Meadows golf shop.
