Dumbarnie Golf Links - Scotland
Video Description:
Scotland's Most Recent Addition to the Golfing Landscape
With the exception of Pebble Beach, there are limited world-class courses that can match the vast beach and waterfront experience offered by Dumbarnie Links. Out of the 34,000 golf courses currently in operation worldwide, only 246 can boast the distinction of being authentic links courses. Among these, a mere 40 hold the esteemed recognition of being internationally acclaimed 5 Star links courses, and impressively, over thirty of them are featured in The World's Top 100 Golf Courses. One of the most renowned examples is the Old Course at St Andrews, situated on the eastern coast of Scotland in the picturesque Fife region. Such premier links courses are exceedingly rare and hold significant prestige.
Our partnership's objective is to develop a prestigious daily fee golf course of unparalleled quality on a genuinely authentic links land, conveniently located just minutes away from St Andrews, commonly referred to as the "Home of Golf." This exceptional parcel of land stretches over a mile and a half along the seafront, affording breathtaking panoramic views of the Firth of Forth.
At first glance, Dumbarnie Links may exhibit the characteristics reminiscent of classic links courses where The Open Championship has been contested since 1860. However, the sprawling 345-acre property at Dumbarnie possesses unique attributes that set it apart. Its dual elevations, seamlessly connected by a flowing escarpment, have afforded us the opportunity to create numerous elevated tees, from which golfers can tee off towards awe-inspiring vistas of the expansive Firth of Forth. Another remarkable feature is the close proximity of several tees and greens to the water, with fourteen of the holes offering captivating views of the Bay and the Firth of Forth.
