Fun in Fife! Playing Elie Golf House Club
Video Description:
Welcome to Episode 75 of the Golf Show.
In this episode Paul and Zach are on a road trip to Fife in Scotland!
Most golfers will think of St Andrews the Home of Golf when they think of Fife, so Paul was keen to explore some of the numerous other courses in the area.
The boys take on the fabulous Elie Golf House Club in 50mph winds!
Golf has been played at Elie since the 15th Century. The club was founded in 1875 and the magnificent club house that it takes its name from came just 2 years later. Home to 5 times Open Champion James Braid, this course has seen it all.
With views to rival any course in the world, how will Paul and Zach get on with this test of links golf at its purest with gale like winds at the end of February in Scotland?
Elie has a very unusual feature in its Starter's Hut... a vintage submarine periscope is used to look over the hill to see if the 1st fairway is clear and the 19th hole is located by the 4th tee, what other local gems will the boys find over the course of 18 holes?
