Skechers Go Golf Shoes Review
- Great Shoes and Great Looks for 2019
By David Theoret
Skechers continues its winning ways when it comes to producing high quality golf footwear for men and women that looks good and performs. But perhaps the biggest thing Skechers has going for themselves is comfort; they are far and away the most comfortable golf shoes money can buy.
Another thing that sets Skechers apart from many other shoe companies is that a lot of their golf models are available in extra wide widths - for both men and women. If you have a wide foot, you know how hard it can be to find a shoe that's wide enough, let alone as comfortable as a pair of Skechers! If this speaks to you, look no further than Skechers Go Golf Max!
Skechers GO GOLF Max Shoes are available for both men and women and offer a super comfortable design along with a sleek versatile look. Much of the comfort is derived from their ULTRA FLIGHT midsole cushioning and the GOGA Max technology insole for high-rebound cushioning. The upper is a combination of a smooth synthetic leather and soft woven mesh that is treated with water-resistant protection with Dri-Lex moisture management interior. The side overlay detail trim gives the shoe a unique look. The Durable grip TPU outsole is done in a contrasting color which adds to the good looks of the shoe and keeps you attached to the ground throughout your golf swing. The cushioned comfort insole is based on Skecher's GO walk Max walking shoe design and the S logo on the side let's others know your favorite brand.
Skechers GO GOLF Max Shoes for Men are available in sizes 7.5 - 13 and in three color combinations: White/ Navy, Charcoal/Navy and Black/Red Medium. Ladies will find them in sizes 5.5 - 11 and in 8 colors/styles including: Fade, Fairway, Honey, Mojo, Lag, Draw and Cut. Most models are available in wide sizes for both men and women.
Another popular shoe for ladies is Skechers GO GOLF Drive Shine. This shoe is an ideal mix of style and comfort and combines innovative with lightweight athletic materials. The metallic leather upper has side panels with textured stitched quilting detail that give this shoe a look like no other. The Shine also has Skechers H2GO Shield waterproof protection and a 2-year warranty. The breathable Dri-Lex moisture wicking lining keeps your feet cool and dry. The ULTRA FLIGHT ultra-lightweight responsive cushioning midsole and Skechers advanced Goga Max Technology insole provide all the comfort you need to go from the first tee to the 18th green. The durable rubber traction plate with rubber nubs won't wear down and provide good connection between you and mother earth. The side S logo identifies the brand. The Ladies GO GOLF Drive Shine Shoes are available in sizes 5.5 - 11 and in three colors: Pewter, Rosegold and Silver.
One of the nicest shoes Skechers makes for men is the GO GOLF Pro V.4 LX; these shoes are professional quality. In fact, they are the shoes worn by Matt Kuchar on the PGA TOUR. The LX model features a premium, high quality full grain leather upper treated with Skechers H2GO Shield waterproof protection. They feature a sleek, low profile, quick release, full contact outsole design. The ULTRA FLIGHT cushioning system is incredibly light and responsive and when combined with the high performance Resamax cushioned insole, they are super comfortable. The heel lock feature creates a stable and secure fit and the diamond-design traction plate outsole with a replaceable Softspikes Stealth PIN system provide maximum grip. The S logo on the side identifies the brand. The GO GOLF Pro V.4 LX golf shoes are available in sizes 7.5 - 14 and in Chocolate or Black.
These are just a few of the new line of golf footwear available from Skechers for both men and women for 2019. We'll be looking at a few more pair in a couple of months. For more information or to pick out a pair of Skechers Golf shoes for yourself, visit their website, www.skechers.com.

About: David Theoret
David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.
Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.
After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
