Pennsylvania Course - The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort Opens Season With Value Added Golf Packages

The opportunity to play famed golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast's first-ever design is available very affordably for guests who take advantage of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort's All-Inclusive Gimme Golf Package.

From opening day (March 27) through Nov. 24, the package includes 18 holes of golf, overnight lodging accommodations, cart and greens fees, all taxes and resort fees. An additional 18-hole round of golf on the same day can be added for only $30/person.

In the 1938 PGA Championship held at Shawnee, Paul Runyan defeated Sam Snead 8 and 7 in the title match during the tournament's era of match play. Today, the resort hosts the Shawnee Open, a sanctioned point tournament for the Philadelphia Section of the PGA.
